Main focus of the business model adopted by MMC is to support OEM manufacturers and EV related businesses. Although certain components are made available to individual purchasers, the sale terms, pricing, purchasing procedure and support are all set up according to common business practices accepted in B2B operations.
Except for engineering services and our own products, all the hardware we offer is imported from Europe. Because we pay to respective manufacturers in their native currency, all our orders either must be prepaid. If an OEM requires scheduled delivery and payment installments, we can only quote in foreign currency. The purchaser pays in USD converted from the original currency at the time of transaction.
Extending NET terms while quoting prices in USD is not possible since 30 or 60 days from the invoicing exchange rates may deviate far enough so we don’t always receive targeted amount of USD to cover our invoices in foreign currency. Nevertheless we do establish long term supply agreements with selected OEMs. One time purchases using spot prices are always based on prepaid terms. Please contact Metric Mind Corporation for details.
